While my wife is a vegetarian, she is happy to indulge my desire for meat, at the Hussar because she can order a few vegetarian items off the menu, which they then make into a platter for her.
We popped in for a late lunch on Saturday. Once again, the service was superb and the food was fantastic. I had the Tomahawk steak which was perfectly done ( rare ), with baby potatoes and onion rings, while my wife tucked into her vegetarian platter.
We ended off with a shared creme brûlée which was superb.
Good wine selection- I had the Thelema Sutherland Pinot Noir which was perfect for lunch.
Service was, as usual, exceptional, professional and friendly.

The ambiance is relaxed and friendly. The staff are genuinely warm and welcoming. The food is always well prepared and the offers excellent value for money. The steaks are always excellent and the chocolate fondant is my recommended dessert. A must go!!!

Wow, just the perfet melt-in-the-mouth fillet! SImply awesome experience, creating that relaxed, time out feeling. enjoyed the great service, good red wine and a yummy steak. Dessert was soothing and complimented the entire meal.

Went here for dinner and truly lives up to it’s name the food was excellent the service excellent but the cheesecake I have no words for except that I have to go back for more the best I have ever tasted.

We had an excellent meal - starters, main meal and dessert. The service was also super efficient. Yummy - look forward to returning soon!
