Slightly bigger than most other Hussar Grills, it offers a distinct dining experience in a setting that is reminiscent of old-school dining complete with dark wood finishings, banquet-style seating and wooden wine crates. Had the most amazing steak at The Hussar Grill on our first night in Cape Town / Camps Bay. Starter and deserts were also brilliant but the steaks really stole the show. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and the meat was cooked to perfection! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant also. Will definitely be back next time we’re in Camps Bay.

We went here last night hoping for a proper good family celebration meal and we were not disappointed! The steaks were excellent, the wine was excellent and the service was excellent, thanks Nicky! Highly recommended if you like a proper good steak. Prices are really reasonable too, great value for money. Would go again tonight if I could! Wonderful evening. Thanks to all the very friendly staff.

We went as a group of eight.Each one of us had a different meal and loved it.The flavour and texture of the steaks were superb.
If you get a chance to visit , it should be top of your list.The service was excellent , the wines superb.Highly recommended .
You will definitely need to book in advance.Arguably , the best steak that I’ve ever had.A brilliant meal.

During our 2+ week stay, we visited this restaurant on 4 occasions, and every time that we went, we partook of various meats, and all were - we are very pleased to say - the best that we have ever had (to the extent that we will probably never have a steak in the UK again, as they come nowhere close to this standard)! The food is large, beautifully prepared, of a reasonable cost, and served by great staff (and an excellent manager too: thanks Gordon)! So... please visit, it's truly amazing!
