We felt like a top quality steak ..and found it at Hussar Grill once again...this time, I ordered an Ostrich steak..other than the usual Chateaubriand....I was not disappointed...lovely cheesecake, just the right size, and a complimentary surprise! Our waitress Mavis was an absolute darling....top quality service...well done, keep it up!

My partner and I visited the Hussar Grill for lunch and were warmly greeted by the waitresses and management. The food was absolutely brilliant. I had the Chicken livers for starter and my partner had the calamari. They were both excellent, I casually remarked that I enjoy seriously spicy food and our incredible waitress Mavis brought me freshly chopped chillies on the side without me having to even ask for them. For our main meals we had the Rump steak and sirloin steak. Wet aged for atleast 3 weeks the steaks were flavorsome and tender, grilled to perfection. We had it paired with their 50year anniversary wine which was pleasant and affordable. At the end we received a complimentary chocolate martini which was decadent and simply a wonderful surprise! In the beginning we also received complimentary olives and potato chips, as a Chef I really admired that they pickle their olives in-house and mature their steaks in-house too. We also had the pleasure of meeting the manager, I don’t recall his name but he was professional and very welcoming. This is possibly the best thing the culinary world of George has got going for it right now. See you again soon.
